More Purple Flowers …
Hopefully you remember the glorious sight of these purple crocus form the other day – and there they are today in all their glory … but now look more closely at this picture of the next group along … why do people think it is okay to damage, trample and break them?
I was able to salvage this bloom and drop it in the fence upright (that some one has taken the cap off!) to get a macro shot … I left it there for a few more folk to enjoy before it wilts – I can enjoy it forever now!
I was on my way to a meeting when I saw those – going back to Fairlie House to meet with someone else from Community Learning and Development … this time about volunteering to help share IT skills with the Job Club members. In their little Community Garden I found one of my all time favourite springtime flowers – a purple drumstick primula
and on the way back I passed these pretty flowers
From purple flowers to small birds … a male Yellow Hammer posing on a fence
and a cheeky pied wagtail showing off …
And the swooping flight of the lapwing
I am going to leave it there and come back to community stuff tomorrow – so much buzzing in my head that I need to sift!!!!
